Finally heading back out into the world! Exotic destinations, new cultures, breathtaking landscapes – the anticipation is huge. But besides planning your route and accommodation, there's one more essential thing: your health. Find out which vaccinations you need for your dream trip right here!

Thailand & Southeast Asia

Island hopping in Thailand or exploring temples in Cambodia? Stomach bugs and mosquito bites are unfortunately common here. Vaccinations against hepatitis A & B, diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (booster may be needed), and malaria prophylaxis can help keep you healthy.

💡 Tip: These are general recommendations. Depending on the region, some vaccines make more or less sense. It’s always worth getting a vaccination consultation.

Africa

Planning a safari in Kenya or trekking through Tanzania? In many African countries, yellow fever vaccination is mandatory. Malaria prophylaxis and rabies vaccination are also often recommended.

💡 Tip: Again, these are general recommendations. A vaccination consultation gives you clarity and tells you if you need to see a travel or tropical medicine specialist.

South America

South America is popular for long-term travel. Hepatitis A & B are standard vaccines, but the more you travel around, the more vaccinations might be needed. You should clarify as early as possible before travelling which medical preventive measures are necessary.

💡 Tip: To find out when to start getting vaccinated, the Well app consultation is ideal. Be fully prepared and know your options.
